Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tuskk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tuskk is a mobile application that allows you to scan physical items (receipts, business cards, documents, prescriptions, etc.), extract data using AI, and retrieve that information later through natural language search. The Service includes free and paid tiers.

3. Account Registration

You may use Tuskk as an anonymous user with limited functionality. To access all features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or credit systems.
  • Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.).
  • Share your account credentials with others.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you scan and upload to Tuskk. By using the Service, you grant Tuskk a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Tuskk offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are governed by the respective app store's policies.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.
  • Refunds are handled by the respective app store according to their refund policies.

7. Credits System

Tuskk uses a credit-based system for AI-powered features (scanning, asking, voice notes). Free users receive a limited weekly budget. Credits are consumed when using AI features and reset according to your plan's billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

9. AI-Generated Content

Tuskk uses AI to extract and analyze data from your scans. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated results may contain errors. You should verify important information independently. Tuskk is not liable for decisions made based on AI-extracted data.

10. Data Deletion

You can delete individual memories at any time. You can request full account deletion through the app settings. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tuskk and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
